Multiplication Masters Club
Join us every Tuesday from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. when we are helping students master their multiplication skills.
This fun, interactive, and skill-based class is aimed at getting students to recall their times tables without the use of their fingers. Students use grouping, arrays, flashcards, games, and multiplication facts to not only understand the multiplication equation but also to be able to answer the equation at first sight.
It is a well-known fact that most students are not able to multiply without the use of their fingers, adding in their heads or the use of a calculator. This inability is leading to problems with not only multiplication but also division and fractions. Being able to answer the equation at first sight sets the student up for a more successful math experience during his/her elementary and high school years.
The students are not in competition with anyone else but themselves. As they master each times table, they move up the Multiplication Masters board. Every child receives an award for his/her accomplishments.
The cost to attend is only $10 per class.
